It was established in 1927 as a family company that produces thermostats under the name CALORSTAT. It has proven that it will become an indispensable brand in the automotive spare parts market in a short time thanks to its high quality thermostats. By 1935, it produced a temperature regulator for central heating boilers. With this innovation, it started to be known as the "Temperature Expert". In 1950, the use of metal bellows type thermostats had become quite common throughout the world. CALORSTAT started this process 2 years ago and proved that it is an innovative company in its field. Incorporating VERNET in 1962, CALORSTAT now took the name VERNET Group. CALORSTAT had now become a brand of the VERNET Group. VERNET, which opened a factory in Argentina in 1995 and in the People's Republic of China in 2006, continues its investments for the future by opening a factory in Mexico in 2015. 

Mesay Automotive has been the Turkey dealer of the VERNET brand since 2010.  CALORSTAT brand thermostats belonging to the VERNET Group are used in the production of VOLVO and RENAULT TRUCKS. In addition, VERNET offers temperature and heat solutions for other European vehicle brands.
